Getting around: The hotel is on the quieter end of A1A but both buses and turn-of-the-century style trolleys stop in front of the hotel, making it convenient to travel along A1A into areas such as the ocean boardwalk with more dining, shopping, and entertainment choices. Single fares for both buses and trolleys are less than $5. Fees are subject to change without notice. The trolley runs from mid-January through Labor Day in September. Driving is the best way to explore farther along scenic A1A and driving is permitted on designated lengths of the beaches during daylight hours.
